First run of 2023:  9 miles at a 9:05 pace

January 5th:  Register for the Bayshore Marathon.

January 17, 2023  I am on track for a 220 mile month.  Running is going very well. I am feeling stronger.  I think the kettle bell work is actually making me stronger and running is getting easier.  I ran a great 14 miler last Saturday (8:58  pace) and it was awesome!  I felt like I could have run more!

I ran a sub 24!  On February 11th, I gave the 5k a chance! And... I was able to knock off a big goal!

Week 4 ends on Feb. 20th:  I am excited about the workouts and tempo paces I am hitting. I feel like I am finally training for the speed I am at, not just one that I want to be at.

I ran another sub 24!  On March 11, I realized that I enjoy running 5k races! Todayƛ 5K I was the first place Female! I have not done that since 2010! 5K time was 23:23

Pace Teams:  I was looking at pace teams for Bayshore and right now I see a 3:45 and a 4:00 one.  I don´t know what I should officially do.  Maybe start with the 4 hour pace group, but then I always worry I am starting too slow.

I ran a 3:58 at Bayshore! I was right on pace!

I ran horribly at Marquette.  I learned a lot.

Over the fall, I stopped looking at my watch when running.

I decided I wanted to end the year with a better long race... So I ran the Stoney Creek Half Marathon in November!  No watch! It was amazing.  I ran a 1:53.  Best time in a while, and I had the best run!

I completed a 105 mile week! I truly felt like a good runner! Sometimes a big goal reminds you how capable you are!

I signed up for Bayshore! May 25th Marathon 38

Right now I am trying to figure out which plan I want to use to train.  I have a little while to figure this out as I do need to start until the end of January.

I am following a plan off the Boston website!  It is the pre building phase.

*I also signed up for the Detroit Half Marathon.
